Scavenger Hunt - The Theme is "Broken"

I took this picture of an old broken down tractor at
the "local" castle" last year.
I think it's got a lot of character.
Happy Weekend!

It looks to be in pretty good shape!

It's amazing how some of those old machines still lurk about, even if they are broken.

Too bad we couldn't combine themes for two weeks as this takes care of both "broken" and "antique"! I love looking at these old pieces of machinery if for no other reason than to see how much they've changed over the years!

Excellent picture. B&W photos seem to add character to the most unlikely objects.

I wonder what it is with old broken tractors? I always love to take photos of them. They are not beautiful, but almsot. The wings of history I guess?

I saw a broken down old steam tractor in western Virginia. It was all rusted but very interesting. We stopped to look at it since my dad grew up on a midwest farm and it still had the manufacture name and number on it... hmmm. That might be a good one for next week's antique theme.

Yours looks to be in much better repair than the one I saw.

I love this photo. It has me wondering.. who did this tractor belong to. Where did they drive it. What did they use it for. Lots of stories here.. I bet.

Old farm equipment is a popular subject this week for 'broken'. I like this picture, living in a larger city most of my life, tractors and the like transport me to a different world. (I'm more in the country now, finally.)
