I enjoyed reading your take on it.

I love the flag background. I stopped by via the WW blogroll.

Come visit anytime.EHThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17964668210604436937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23541753.post-1164511657110491792006-11-26T04:27:00.000+01:002006-11-26T04:27:00.000+01:00I was three when President Kennedy was assassinate...I was three when President Kennedy was assassinated. I don't remember where I was, but was told later on by Mum, my Mum, Gram and I were at the neighbors visiting when the news about Kennedy's death was announced.

I can remember watching the funeral on television. The thing I remember seeing was the horse drawn wagon with Kennedy's casket draped in the flag and the soldiers standing at guard.

43 years already, I can only imagine what our world would be like if Kennedy wasn't shot.

You say the ones who were behind the assassination never paid for the deed. Maybe not on Earth, but the ones behind the assassination would have to answer to God.

Thanks for sharing the post.Bill ~ {The Old Fart}https://www.blogger.com/profile/14257411366459797653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23541753.post-1164445333385639092006-11-25T10:02:00.000+01:002006-11-25T10:02:00.000+01:00My God, already 43 years ! I didn't realize that !...My God, already 43 years ! I didn't realize that ! I were in Brussels in a Supermarket when suddenly a woman announced his dead through the speakers. Even though it was not our president, people just stand still in shock because everybody had admired him. And yes, we will never learn the truth !Gattinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636525277807715146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23541753.post-1164291536282725892006-11-23T15:18:00.000+01:002006-11-23T15:18:00.000+01:00I wish I could say I do have the memories of the m...I wish I could say I do have the memories of the man that others have... I know he was a special one! But I was only a wee little thing, and never REALLY knew him. MY memories are more of Jackie and Caroline and John-John! I DO remember John-John - cuz I thought he was SO cute and how neat that he and Caroline got to live at the White House - and HAVE A PONY! But all of my memories of the man, himself, come from what I've read over the years. And he really WAS a good one... though, he too, had his indiscretions! But the difference back then was that the media had enough sense to KEEP his indiscretions DISCRETE! True? This is a lovely post LB! I LIKE it!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! You are celebrating, aren't you?Mellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16266127127286739779noreply@blogger.com
