Oh yes, the captain... I was a huge fan!!
You should get with my mom, she LOVEs to talk about the 50s
This ages us LB!! Ummmm, a studebaker...wow, I remember those too. My dad had one, even bought a LARK when studebakers came out with them.
GREAT, great list.
My T T is published
Some of those things we did in the 70's: Captain Kangaroo, plastic swimming pools, hide and go seek in twilight (those were the best!), and roller skates. Just being outside without too much fear. Those were the days!
Memory is one of the greatest blessings in life!
Thanks for coming by my blog.
Awesome list! I remember some of that stuff. Trick or treating or more fun years ago. ;)
What a fun list!!! Good memories too! I have my TT up
I actually remember some of those but not in the 50s. I came along in the 70s
Block parties seriously need to be revived.
I didn't watch much Captain Kangaroo, but can relate to everything else.
Thanks for visiting.
I just gave a little girl some cutout dolls last week for her birthday :)
Happy TT day !!
I LOVED SHERIFF JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember many of these things! (I was a 60's kid)
I watched Captain Kangaroo. I never realized how odd that show was until I got older.
Oh, I like this FUN TT of yours :-)
#1 is my favorite.

thanks for visting my T13 - I think I was meant to grow up in a different time period - I just love hearing about the past. The lady across the street from me and I are planning a block party for the summer...I can't wait!
Don't know about the birthday song but can sure relate to all the others. Life was certainly a lot less complicated. My TT is up.
Oooohhhh... I remember Captain Kangaroo! Very interesting list!
Thanks for stopping by my T13, too. ;)
Ohhhhhh so many of my favorites! I LOVED Mr. Greenjeans on Captain Kangaroo! And roller skates with keys - YES! Annnnnnd paper dolls -- Oh I loved them ... and had about a million of them! (wish I'd kept them!) GREAT 13 LB!!!
