My Stop Smoking Blog - day 4

Well, Here I am, day 4 of not smoking. How do I feel? I feel a whole lot better.
I went for a long walk without being dead tired. I tramped through the snow and was hardly out-of-breath for a change. I'm not coughing as much either. I haven't had a headache for the first time in a long time too. I even had a cup of coffee without going insane. *S* I miss the feeling of having a good cup of coffee and relaxing, but how much I really relaxed is really the question. But all in all, day 4 is pretty good. I think it's really important to feel changes to keep up the fight against that one cigarette. I'm looking forward to seeing (or hearing) my singing voice clearing up and being able to hit those high notes again!
That's it for now.
Happy weekend
L

I WOULD think that for you, getting your singing voice back would be a HUUUUGE incentive on this journey! I kinda MISS my "husky" smoking voice -- I used to get told all the time I had a "sexy" voice -- and I don't anymore! But... no! I don't think I'll take it up again to sound like a female Rod Stewart! LOL!

It's great that you have been able to ENJOY your coffee withOUT the cigarette! I KNEW you could do this! ONE DAY AT A TIME babe! Sometimes one hour at a time... even minutes! But you'll get there! KEEP BUSY!!! VERY very busy!!!

Good for you! I am very proud of you. Smoking is something that I never had a problem with because it is something that I never started. If I had I would be divorced now!! My hubby would have divorced me and he had told me that a LONG LONG time ago. I hope you beat this thing. Sandy
