Saturday Photo Hunt - The Theme is "Hair"

(click on the photo for a better view)
Many years ago I had the privilege of playing in a European cast of the musical Hair. I loved and still love that musical. I love the songs and dances and the story too. It was a lot of fun and I travelled all over Scandinavia singing and dancing for great audiences. Here is one of my favorite pictures during the song Hair! I'm the one in the striped shirt in front.
Happy Weekend

What a great take on the theme!
My DD was in several plays, and there's not anything like it. She had a grand time and has such good memories.
Happy Hunting :)

I believe this is my first visit here. All week as I thought on the photo hunter's subject, the play Hair kept popping into my head. I'm glad you used it.

That's so cool. When I saw the theme was Hair, I immediately thought of that production. Unfortunately I have never experienced it.

Love the picture, we are so children of the 60's. My brother was in Phantom of the Opera for eight years before he went to Europe for his real opera career!

Very cool! :) Awesome that you performed in "Hair". :) My human mom loves musicals, but she only ever acted in high school performances.

Hi! I'm Pablo from Australia. I found you through Daisy's blog. My mum Kate also starred in a version of Hair (she was Jeannie) staged at her high school when she was a Senior (we call that Grade 12 over here). Not as exciting as touring Scandinavia, but fun nevertheless!

Grandma told me that she saw the movie "Hair" a long time back and that some of the people were nekkid!

I took some liberties with the theme ... Fur is pretty close, right?

Thanks for visitin' my bloggie today!

I'm going to repeat a previous question: did your production include the infamous naked scene?
Way back when here in Vancouver when the first production of HAIR was set to go the police department had to see a preview screening to make sure the obscenity laws of the day didn't apply. From what I recall, the cast may have had to hold up sheets for that one scene but when no one from the public complained, I think they dropped the sheets (literally) LOL.

Oh, the Hair!!!! Lovely, wonderful marvellou music yes! I love Hair! (In all meanings ;-)

What a blast you must have had! Wow! What an experience and memory.

I've always wanted to be able to sing, but no voice for that, so I really envy you on that part, it seems so fun to be able to sing good. Take care of that gift.

Only place I sing is in the elderly home with my mom and the others when Mr L is playing the piano for them :-)
