1. Hoola Hoop Rings
2. The Sheriff John Birthday song – Put another candle on my birthday cake!
3. Captain Kangaroo
4. Running after tumble weeds rolling down the street.
5. Playing baseball in the street.
6. Trick or treating, and not being scared of weirdos.
7. Our blue Studebaker.
8. Cut-out dolls.
9. Sun-suits.
10. Big plastic swimming pools in the backyard.
11. Block parties.
12. Hide and go seek in twilight.
13. Kites, roller skates with keys, soapbox cars and tiki jewlery.

This ages us LB!! Ummmm, a studebaker...wow, I remember those too. My dad had one, even bought a LARK when studebakers came out with them.

Some of those things we did in the 70's: Captain Kangaroo, plastic swimming pools, hide and go seek in twilight (those were the best!), and roller skates. Just being outside without too much fear. Those were the days!

I watched Captain Kangaroo. I never realized how odd that show was until I got older.

Ohhhhhh so many of my favorites! I LOVED Mr. Greenjeans on Captain Kangaroo! And roller skates with keys - YES! Annnnnnd paper dolls -- Oh I loved them ... and had about a million of them! (wish I'd kept them!) GREAT 13 LB!!!
