I took this picture last Spring of this lonely magnolia
flower. It is such a beautiful pastel color. Here in Europe
they call this a tulip tree.

Beautiful shot. We have quite a few magnolias growing near us and they have to be one of my favourite trees. Sadly, I have never succeeded in growing one myslef though.

I've heard it called a tulip tree too (in the South?). It does look lonely there, all alone.

We also call this a tulip tree in Canada. These flowers are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. It's a great shot.

now theres a tree we dont see often, in fact, rarely in Michigan! lol...Very pretty! I managed to visit a couple of friends this weekend, and posted a PINK photo too, come and visit soon sweetie...My "broom" flys back to Michigan on Holloween evening....Have a great weekend sweetie
